Behind the Photo: Portraits in Lightroom

By July 3, 2013March 29th, 2018Uncategorized

I don’t normally do this and actually I really like doing it so maybe I’ll give it more effort. I’m finally getting more comfortable using Lightroom after several months of use. In this example I’ll still pull it into Photoshop for some more advanced sharpening and maybe some fine-tune masking. But this is a Lightroom only edit. The most crucial tool for me is manual levels adjustments. And it works quite differently in LR than in PSD – which has been quite distressing to me. Other edits include camera and lens correction, removal of chromatic aberrations, sharpening, smoothing, cross processing (curves) and the removal a few pieces of grass with the heal spot removal tool.
